Parent Info
What curriculum is used?
Aspire Academy uses the HighScope Curriculum. Teachers ignite children’s interest in learning by creating an environment that encourages them to explore learning materials and interact with adults and peers. We focus on supporting early learners as they make decisions, build academic skills, develop socially and emotionally, and become part of a classroom community.
Will my child be playing with bigger kids?
Children enjoy the fenced play area at different times during the day. Children gain knowledge through their natural play and interactions with the environment and their peers.
What is focus of the daily program?
The focus of the daily program is individualization. Children are supported to develop new skills at their own pace. For older children, this is accomplished through Center-based activities, as children learn through discovery play. Activities are designed for language, art, science, math, fine motor, and gross motor language development. Age-appropriate environments are carefully planned for indoor and outdoor learning experiences. Although there are classroom routines that provide consistency, flexibility allows for individual needs.
